Bridget Vogel, NIC - Interpreter Coordinator

Bridget Vogel joined Language Access Network in early 2005 as an ASL interpreter and has served in a number of capacities. She is certified under the new NAD-RID National Interpreter Certification at the NIC level. Bridget began her love for ASL as a child and continued to foster it as a high school student when she took ASL to fulfill her foreign language requirement. She went on to Columbus State where she received her associate’s degree in ASL Education/Interpretation. She has experience interpreting in a wide variety of medical and social settings.

As Interpreter Coordinator for Language Access Network, Bridget Vogel helps manage the interpreting staff and coordinate various projects. Her responsibilities include training, payroll, scheduling, and system engineering. Bridget has been instrumental in recruiting our Deaf Outreach Coordinator and organizing our deaf/hard of hearing focus group and advisory team.
