History
Inspired by the growing demand for language services, Andrew Panos sought an answer by offering both skilled interpreters and technology.  Panos is all too aware of what time—and distance—can cost.  His brother survived an accident in Mexico, but nearly lost his life due to communication barriers.  Within the US, providers struggle to find qualified interpreters who are immediately available on demand.

Language Access Network and MARTTI: Founded in 2003, with qualified medical interpreters stationed in a central area, patients and providers have access to a multitude of languages via video over a HIPAA complaint line.  Within a language services department, MARTTI offers hospitals the ability to expand resources, while controlling cost.

An 18 month pilot at the Ohio State University Medical Center refined the services we offer, including:
• Video and Audio interpretation
• Telemedicine
• Consultation
• Interpreter Training.

Language Access Network supports a variety of hospitals and pharmacies throughout the US via Your HIPAA Compliant Network.   To learn more about our clients, see our press releases.
