Andrew Panos
COO
Andrew Panos knows how difficult it can be to navigate a health system, especially when faced with a language barrier. His brother nearly died in a Mexican hospital simply because he did not speak Spanish. This growing need for fast and accurate interpretation services prompted Mr. Panos to form the Language Access Network in 2003.
The firm foundation Mr. Panos has built for Language Access Network will allow the company to balance growth and sustainability in an industry on the rise. While pioneering the video interpretation industry, Mr. Panos has served as the key operations executive for the company. He has built and managed the Language Access Network team as demand has increased among a growing customer base. Mr. Panos coordinates the company’s sales and implementation activities and serves as a leader of the management team. “Working with motivated and intelligent individuals from all over the world provides me with new perspectives for developing our business. By encouraging cross-cultural understanding we are able to reach out to the communities who are in need of our services”, Mr. Panos states.
Mr. Panos understands the process of taking companies from the emerging stage to viable businesses in their industries. His extensive experience in operations, business development, and national marketing strategy stems from serving as a key executive at both PeeblesPanos and Cahan Creative. He is a member of the NCIHC (National Council on Interpreting in Health Care), ASLC (Association of Language Companies), and AD FED. Mr. Panos has held board positions with the Columbus Zoo F.A.C.E.S. program as well as the Wexner Center’s 12 ¼ Council. Mr. Panos has a B.A. from Montana State University.
